PARNITHA MOUNTAIN

Mount Parnitha  is a densely forested mountain range north of Athens, the highest on the peninsula of Attica, with an elevation of 1,413 m. Much of the mountain is designated a national park, and is a protected habitat for wildfowl.

The mountain offers panoramic views of the mountains north-east of Parnitha, Penteli to the east, the Ymittos to the south-east, the Aigaleo to the south from its summit the Saronic Gulf.

View is splendid diversity of distant mountains, beautiful green fields, valleys and coast, vineyards and olive groves.

We have been driving through along the trails of Parnitha mountain for years and each time we are charmed by the beauties of it. We  still can  not believe what we see and get up to!!
