Lavreotic Area
The area of Lavreotiki is in the SE of Attica, at a distance of 55km from the centre of Athens.
Its morphology is hilly and semi-mountainous and the highest altitude is at Megalo Ribari site ( 372 m) . The area is dry, partly covered by pine trees and crossed by numerous valleys.
The surrounding area of Lavrion with the natural Sounion National Park is a remarkable centre of cultural tourism and leisure.
The mild Mediterranean climate, convenient location, the awareness of environmental protection and nature conservation, has made this area a real small paradise for all off-road enthusiasts.
